Pros
The forster bit maintains its integrity even when orange hot. It was used to make openings on a 4” x6” pressure treated piece of lumber. Used this to drill a giant round mortise in a leg vise chop.
Perfect for the hobbyist / not so much for the professional. Will likely purchase a couple more of the oversized forstners. This bit lasts.
Cons
This is the third such forster bit i’ve tried and the others were worse! Tons of quality companies make up to 2 1/4 bits, which i would have a freud, whiteside or amana. Please save your money and buy a quality brand name. It isn't even close to fitti... Read More
