Pros
Metal edges are smooth so no risk of damaging non-stick pots. Heavy duty and much improved from the pampered chef veggie steamers. Goes down just fine after cooling but it’s a chore getting it extended hot!
It's incredibly versatile. It folds up neatly for compact storage, but expands effortlessly to fit various pot sizes.

Cons
The handle is very loose and is dangerous over boiling water. The petals also fall off very easily but are soooo hard to put back on. Made in china, fyi.
Came with screwdriver but no screws. The first version flipped open easily. When the legs are opened up, one of the legs always folds under.

The rigidity of the metal colandersteamer combined with the silicone feet and sturdy handle worked for my style of cooking
This steamer basket appears well made and i anticipate using it for many years
Finally one fell off and got lost
My existing steamer like this one has several of the metal petals falling off
Price
All in all still well worth the few bucks more
Instead of purchasing a baby food steamer i purchase this and works just as good and for 90 less what a steal
Otherwise this steamer basket works well for the price
Thats a choice made at time of sale so i knew it would be smaller
Packaging/appearance
What has impressed me most though was the packaging and customer service follow up

Works as well if not better than expensive name brand product
The construction design is superior to others particularly ones cheaper priced or in grocery stores

Ive had similar collapsing steamers before and like them but i needed to replace my very old ones
