    Although most of the models are fit using stan, this book won't teach you how to use stan directly.

    Instead, the author has created an r package called rethinking that allows you to write relatively straightforward r code that is then converted under the hood into stan's modeling language.

    I really can't recommend this book any higher to anyone trying to learn bayes.
