The case alone is worth it. It can be banged around without damage. The case feels durable and protective.

The walnut looks more textured than what i expected, but i love it. It is plywood but for the price it is great. See my (blurry) pic of the inside; it sure looks like the side is at least solid wood.
This uke has the brightness in sound quality you expect from a soprano uke. It has good projection and sustain, and a warm, mellow sound, almost like what guitarists chase.
Cons
First thing i noticed when unboxing was a huge blemish on the face of the instrument. This is just an outright scam to dupe new buyers. Even for a beginner ukelele, that seems unacceptable.

There are a couple prough splinters in the opening of the ukulele. The strap button at the bottom is a bit loose and wobbly. Sometimes you have some fret sprout that needs to be filed down.

I could never tune that one it literally went off tune on every pressstrum no matter how light i tried to strum the string with pick
It was missing parts such as picks and string so i have to return

I wanted an inexpensive instrument that had what i needed and worked well
I feel like it was definitely worth the price

I bought one for my daughter who is 6 from another company at the same price and this one from ranch

Ive read some people post about the instrument not staying in tune but im pretty sure that they havent given the strings enough time to stretch thats typical of nylon strings
