When you connect this y-connector to an audio source, then plug 1 set of earbuds into one of the connection points, sound comes out of both earbuds.

The jacks didn't fit snugly into the splitter and unsurprisingly, i am only getting one channel out of my speakers and nothing out of my headphones.

I'm altering this review because i realized when i went to remove the splitter that i hadn't pushed the jacks in until they snapped home.
