Usb 3. Hub is nicely sized. Offers multiple ports without overheating. Only wait it could be better is if the cord were longer so it could sit next to her 2-in-1.
It's compact, reasonably light, and sturdy enough when treated appropriately. It is small and fits in my laptop bag so i have it with me all the time.
It uses the usb-c is compatible with the new thunderbolt 3. Thunderbolt. It's also compatible with usb 2, 3, 3. Can plug in 3 usb 3. Ports. It has a built-in datum sensor.
Cons
The device has to be compatible with thunderbolt. I now have to copy over 8gb of data and checksum it to see if it is recoverable without being corrupted. The manufacturer's note in the q&a is completely inaccurate.

I have it hooked up to my motherboards rear usbc port and the cable is not long enough for this to sit flat on the desk so its just kinda hanging there
