The usb connector snapped off the board rendering the unit completely useless! How frustrating to have an expensive and central part of your system fail because of faulty or sloppy soldering.

I was using a seagate drive that i shucked from an expansion portable drive and i had saved the four mounting screws with the rubber caps

Once the connectors were lined up with the back panel i pushed it gently in place

Competitiveness

Im using two 512gb ssds and since theyre not spinning disks theres relatively no heat issues

With two ssds raid 0 can transfer at over 700 mbsec through via the usbc port
