Pros

This has the shortest and most flexible head, the least bulky and the most flexible cable. Cord is not flimsy, so shouldn't get any kinks.

Uses to drive dual-display 27-inch curved monitors from a laptop dock. Works like a charm, fps as much as my monitor and gpu allows. Works perfect on 2k 144 hz monitor!

Startech cable seems to be working just fine. Highly recommend their displayport cables. This cable works as a charm!

Cons

After i disconnected it instead of a * cable coming from the 4k monitor manufacturer, every thing returns normally. This 3m version is definitely not slim. Do not recommend for index cable extension purposes.

4 stars due to the price and lack of availability of a 6ft 2m cable

Despite the cost get this cable saving 510 isnt worth the aggravation of less than optimal display quality

Then the price of the monitor dropped to what i paid for a used item so i returned the used one and got a new one

I bought the monitor used at bh for 500 bucks cheaper than new and was using it with this cable matters cable httpswww

Shipping

You would have thought samsung would have shipped it with an adequate cable

Competitiveness

This cable is a bit more expensive than some of the competitors but it is actually vesa certified and is more flexible

I have been loyal to startech for years and continue to remain loyal to the company

The other brand would flicker once or twice albeit rarely say once a day after a minute of inactivity

I swear by monoprice but i will in future add startech to the list the next time i need cables to anything
