Bad inserting the hard drive into the caddy isnt nearly as plugandplay as id expected

The sata connectors are loose in the caddy on very short cables you have to hold the drive just right to plug them in then flip the drive over into place and screw it down to the base swapping drives is in no way a toolfree process

The key does not insert into the lock more than an eighth inch or so requiring some fiddling to get it to turn

This wouldnt bother me except that it turns out that the lock is also the drive power switch and thus its use is not optional

Installing and using this thing is more involved than installing a hard drive and the manual doesnt provide a lot of help

Bottom line despite the heavyduty construction this unit clearly isnt suited for frequent drive swaps
