Pros
Package includes two double-ended nuts that you can attach to the screws. Comes in a small plastic bag. Male to female connector is the same as the female connector. Mating connector on both ends has screws to attach them to the mating connectors.
Worked perfect. No known problems. Solved my problem.

I ended up trying the 10ft tripp lite first figuring the 10ft was more versatile than the 6ft of this version and it worked well so i did not try the star tech version

Ill probably hang onto this one for a couple weeks just in case something goes wrong with the tripp lite

Id say either go by which length you need or your budget or get both and plan to return whichever one does not work best for you

I use it to connectdisconnect a monitor to use with another computer instead of having to either disconnect from the back of the monitor pia or disconnect from the video card a real pia
