I don’t consider myself a grammar freak but i found myself stopping to sort through oddly placed commas or word choices to try and understand the intent of a paragraph every couple of pages

While i generally dislike the practice of interjecting “he said” or “she said” after every line here the author runs into the opposite problem

You’ll get sentences where it has no indication who speaking and you have to puzzle out who is talking by going back and rereading the passage to assign the correct speaker to the conversation fragments
