The bottom chamber is double insulated glass and metal and the top chamber is really thick sturdy plastic kind of like an aeropress

The plastic reservoir seems to cool down the water fairly quickly so id suggest using water above 200 perhaps 205 f so that once the metal plunger and plastic reservoir come up to temp youre at the correct water temperature

Well it doesnt okay job cleaning this afterwards is really a major hassle

The biggest reason why im doing this down to four stars is that the glass container at the bottom is doublewalled but not sealed so water actually ends up getting between the two layers of glass rather annoying
