Pros
The slow cooker on high is basically a low-med on a “normal” slow cooker. We enjoy making ribs and pot roast in it. Next up, braised short ribs.
the instantpot takes the drudgery out of the kitchen. I'm turning my front hall closet into a pantry and this pot will have center stage.
Cons
Lid is hard to close and lock. My crockpot pressure cooker is 10 times better and the same price. Beware and inspect very carefully and thoroughly upon receipt.

So before you actually use it for cooking food youre supposed to run the pot through a pressure cook test cycle with 3 cups of water

I recommend running the test cooks twice to get rid of the smokey smell as well as plastic smell

Weve used this thing for a little less than 2 years buttons started not working
