They have a long enough lifetime but anything silicone exposed to ear wax for long enough will get gunky

I prefer the foam tips because i get better sound isolation with them but the orange foam tips are too large in diameter and the red foam tips are too small

I was very hesitant to order these and the only thing that pushed me to get them was they are made by westone and my ear buds are westone and i like them very much
