Stansport percolator brews coffee over a campfire or a portable stove. I make it on a camp stove so it's easy to adjust the flame once it starts percolating. It takes a few tries to get the timing down to the strength you enjoy.

I live in oklahoma where we get tornadoes and wind takes out powerlines and occasionally i need to use it instead of my cuisinart coffee grinder coffee pot and let me tell you sometimes this makes better damn coffee i would recommend this product

When the layer of old coffee grounds on the bottom of the pot are displacing too much water then it is time to dump the old grounds out in your garden rinse the pot wipe out residue s and start a new pot of coffee

However like all these type pots you have to be carefull the lid doesnt fall off when pouring coffee i used a thin piece of picture frame steel wire across the lid so itll stay on
