Pros & Cons

Pros

The parking pad looks amazing and is everything i hoped it would be! It’s basically “get a beer, stretch it out, fill with gravel, yay! Used this over landscape cloth in a horse pasture. Works well for horse paddocks if you have a mud problem.

Will continue to use in the future. Hesitant to purchase due to the reviews, however for our purpose, this stuff is awesome! Works just as advertised. Works surprisingly well.

The price you pay for this mesh is minuscule compared to the benefits, a super sturdy and structurally supported area.

Avoid distortion of grid by pinning top cells closer together so there's plenty of slack. Stretch the grid evenly and securely.

This is the point where the grid is inserted and staked in place. Somewhat difficult to keep square while staking out, but went pretty smoothly after a few re-starts.

Cons

If you have an incline or any bit of a slope, they really don't get the job done.

Once i got the front done and packed i was able to get the dump truck to drive right over it and dump my last load of gravel into the empty cells

I didnt see this addressed in the questions so just wanted to mention that the 34continuous34 side stretches out to 17 and the sidescells with the 34points34 span the 9 dimension

The diagramthumbnail shows it the opposite way

After the first two rains we saw instances where you could see the grid

Now its gone months without issues

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Being fearful of using washed 3434 gravel because of the horses foot structure we choose to use processed 3434 gravel which also contains sand

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

After time most of the gravel sinks into the sand and it becomes a fairly solid surface

If i have rain i know i wont have holes where drainage is a problem
