Pros
These units are well made and emanate quality. The feet are very securely riveted to the base. Legs are not removable which doesn't bother me.
They are versatile, easy to use, and replaced 6 steamers. They have a good thickness so they don’t break or bend too much. Open and close smoothly.
Cons
The legs are too feeble to hold up the steamer. There is no stability when lifting the device from a pot, so all that food dumps right into the water. This is a cookware item it should not dissolve in the broth, this is just ridiculous.
Aluminum is neuro toxic. Started to show signs of rust, corrosion, after first use. Evaporation of the water and heat accelerates the corrosion, rust.

I was so happy to see the larger size because the small one in a big pot meant many of the veges ended up in the water having fallen over the sides of the steamer
