Pros & Cons
Pros
Valve stems work very well when converting your wheels to tubeless. Purchased these with hutchison fusion 3 tires & stan's sealant. Installed them on ksyrium premium sl wheelset.
Stan's valve stem has a built in * for an o-ring in the nut. Cut the hole, installed it, and righted the o ring. All you have to do is use the injector to inject the sealant through the valve.
Cons
I'm guessing the o ring gasket isn't big enough, but it won't hold air in my tire. Don't know what's happened to stan's as far as the valves. Be careful, stan.
Highlights
Quality
The valves are well made easily installed
Perfect fit for a narrow rim and tires making a nice seal between the tire bead and rims at the valve interface
Stans sealant quickly stopped air from leaking as i applied air
Fills the hole in the rim and does not leak air
Price
Half the price of oem replacements removable valve stems and fits shimano ultegra tubeless wheels
Good price needed a knife to make them work
Shipping
Quick shipping product was delivered as advertised
However they were delivered on time and would probably work well in the proper application
Competitiveness
Dont get a no name brand to save a couple bucks these are the best
I switched over to stans no tubes using these valves and have gone over 1000 miles wo a flat
I cannot say the same for other valve stem brands
Shimano leaves a lot to be desired in terms of efficient logical design but as long as after market companies can solve their d... Read More

If youre riding hard in rocky terrain its a matter of time until you break a valve or sheer it off and have to replace it
