Pros & Cons
Pros
I was shipped quickly and was as described by the seller. And at a good price makes this economical.
Product is exactly as described in pic, it's a yellow hexagon block of pure beeswax. The block is a very deep golden unrefined yellow. Exactly as pictured.
It smells pure and slightly odorous as beeswax should so i am happy. It is fairly white, which i assume has to do with the cosmetic grade. It looks well-filtered and does not have a strong odor even during heating.
Cons
The product i received is not the product shown in the picture. It is obviously mislabelled as the cosmetic grade 1.

Price
The price is phenomenal considering how much it can cost for a 1oz stick of beeswax at my local art store
Packaging/appearance
Was trying to use a natural wax that wouldn’t irritate sensitive skin

This does seem like the real deal but i bought it to wax my embroidery floss for friendship bracelets and i agree with some reviewers about the odor

It smells like bee pheromones and although i don’t really mind it i’m not sure how the recipients of my bracelets will feel about the certain aroma it has

Also this stuff is much more difficult to cut than i had been expecting so when i took my sharp knife and began to slice down on it to create a twoinch wide bar from one of the sides it started to shard and flake off instead of allowing the knife to cut through

I think i’ll try heating up some wire and then cut it with the wire so it sort of softens the wax while it cuts but i’m not digging the scent too much so i’ll have to figure out a way to mask the scent if i want to use it for the bracelets
