Pros

They are a heavy carpet that feels solid, and keeps your footing secure. They are very safe and even my older parents navigated them without any issues. My dogs lack confidence on stairs without carpeting and these treads have been perfect!

Placed stair treads with double sided removable carpet tape along the banister. Cat retreats to the basement when storms come, and it is always worrying when she is panicking and slipped.

Cons

They dangerously slide when you're walking down the stairs. They are very flimsy. There is a bump right in the middle of each step.

My husband put 2 small strips of basic double sided tape on them and it is working like a champ
