The pestle however is weighted and does help with the grinding process

I like the idea of stainless steel as i do not have to be concerned that anything is going to break off in the mix

So it sat in the dishrack for about a week getting regularly doused with water whenever i cleaned dishes

I know it will not get food particles in the pores like the the marble one could get
