Pros & Cons
Pros
Very strong and durable. They are very sturdy, will be using them for years to come.
The taps are sturdy and tubing fits tightly. The tapered end gives a nice snug fit which minimizes leakage around the tap.
As advertised. Worked great. Excellent bang for the buck.
Used a 5/16 drill bit in the maple trees and pounded them in no problem. Run something like a bottle brush or deburring tool through the center to get out any metal shards. Sterilize these before each season in a bleach solution or rubbing alcohol.
Cons
This product is too short, it is not long enough to connect the tubing or even hang a maple bucket. Returned and got normal sized maple taps.
