Pros

Steamer works fine with very minor adjustments to hold it open and keep grains from sneaking under. You have to assemble the legs yourself and make sure they're secure.

This large vegetable steamer basket works very well. The removable center post makes the steamer a versatile piece of equipment for several other cooking needs.

Cons

Do yourself a big favor, and look elsewhere for a 12 inch steamer. The little metal legs that hold up the basket are extremely flimsy. Gave up and returned.
