The stainless steel piece is removable, making it easy to throw in the dishwasher and clean. It’s stainless steel, lighter than using glass container yet safer than plastic.

The bottom container is oddly deeper than the metal container. It fits perfectly in the bottom of my insulated lunchbox. Seals well when closed.

My son likes hot lunches so i make him tater tots or fries and meatballs. We use it to send food to school for our preschooler and it’s the perfect size. Silicone cupcake/muffin liners to organize his food and they fit well.
