These are the same concept fram came out with years ago and i have 1 of those on my 93 s10 blazer still to this day. Using for husqvarna 24 hp briggs and stratton riding mower. Kfe brake systems is an excellent vendor with fantastic customer service.

The plug allows you to drain used oil directly into a container without any splashing. No more dripping on the ground due to wind conditions.

Max tork to tighten is 18, so just below that should do the trick. Just snug it up.

Cons

Stahlbus crush washer is useless. Oil leaks where it shouldn't and fills up the dust cap and leaks out. Flows are slow and come down by at least 1/10th of a quart within 500 miles.

Still have to deal with the filter but if you have a newer vehicle with the filter at the top its not hard to swap out quick

I used a little rector seal 5 on the threads along with the supplied gasket

Competitiveness

Ive had this on my car and my wifes car the last 4 years

I wasnt able to install fumoto valve because it didnt fit my bmw 330

I could easily handtighten this stahlbus valve whereas the competitors product would need to be forced in probably stripping the threads

Nothing against the competitors product vlvomx which has served me just fine on my other vehicles
