Pros

The gooseneck is a huge benefit for those who make pour over coffee (with several feature sets specifically for it though i have an activated and or figured out how to turn them on yet) it also rotates to set the temperature you want for your water.

The new one works amazingly well. I like this one better because it’s beautiful and sleek. Good interface. Stylish modern clean look.

Aesthetically the kettle looks amazing with its black construction and wooden handle. Nothing flimsy about it. The matte black finish and walnut wood handle and lid knob on its shiny black plate is just a nice look.

I'm certainly not knocking it. It does that well.

This kettle is very comfortable to hold. The kettle is also nicely balanced. Read all review (positive ones & negative ones) and decided to give it a try.

Cons

It dribbles all the time. It pours so slowly. The lid has a poor design where the water would boil up the lid and fill it with water which will eventually crack the wood knob.

Only has 1 button and it doesn't work reliably, won't turn on. Pressing it too hard would trigger the timer instead of turning it off. The temperature knob has to be pressed on the right side to turn it on. It's easier because there are fewer * but it... Read More

I previously had a cosori brand electric kettle which i purchased because i didn’t want to spend 200 dollars

This heats and keeps at set temp for french press type coffe brewing

And that leads me to the one thing i dislike about thisthe cord
