Pros & Cons
Pros
I use my brick hammer often on it and it still looks new. It’s kinda hard to plumb or level a bench mark with the shock shroud but not bad.

Stabila makes awesome levels just got to take care of it
There’s no need to worry about it getting wet like a wooden level but the mortar does stick to the aluminum a little more than wood
