I bought and installed a set that was a differentsofter style than these than these last year and they had split while the bike was in storage

I did the trick where you lift up one of the inside lips of the old grips and sprayed a little isopropyl rubbing alcohol in between the grip and the handlebars let it sit for a minute then shimmied them off the bars
