Body and forearm contours are more comfortable than my player plus tele. Floating is a little more complicated. It plays smooth, sustains well, and sounds great.

Cons
Non-working tone knob for the neck pickup is a complete deal-breaker. Control cavity screw hole was drilled way off center. Terrible buzz with fret,string and saddle.

Over all its an excellent sounding strat and well made
I have no problems with the build quality
This guitar has bad fret work sharp fret ends and rough fret surfaces
Output jack is solid and doesnt seem cheap

I received mine in less than a week and it is a beauty
I was so happy it arrived with no issues
Wasn’t sure about shipping a guitar before actually playing it

Packaging/appearance
It arrived wellpacked and in great shape
Took a chance on the squire but it looks and sounds great out of the box
Competitiveness
Ive played and set up a lot of the competitors guitars in this price range and id take the squier over them any day
Squierfender its affordable guitar that rivals the more expensive models by the parent company
I tried bullet strats and other mexican made strats with less attention to detail
This is an indonesian factory model while the affinity series tele i tested was a chinese factory model

I fixed it and it seems to be holding but im a bit disappointed that i needed to do these repairs on a new guitar
