The squeezo strainer is simple to use, easy to clean, and will not rust. Clean up is easy as everything is dishwasher safe. The squeezo has a 1/2 inch shaft.
Cons
Upon explaination of my dilemma i was told the squeezo was meant for hobby use, not mass production. These details of cooling down the apples and working with raw tomatoes was not communicated when advertising thesqueezo strainer.

For those of you with the older squeezos whose rubber gaskets have hardened and become brittle the fix is very easy
Packaging/appearance
It at times would start pushing the sauce out of the scrap end but i removed the screen and cleaned it and we started again
The strainer i bought came with just one screen the others are the very fine berry screen and the pumpkin screen
Competitiveness
Yes the rubber gasket hardened and we bought a replacement at the local hardwear store
It is extremely well built one that has served our familys needs for nearly 40 years

As a raw foodist past 7 years ive been seriously into juicing small appliances talking with thousands of others with same interests on line and all along squeezos gotten rave reveiws from people

And im not talking about the stupid suction cup system used by some companies im talking about something like a cast aluiminum 4 legged base about say 18 x 8

It is an all metal unit however the handle is wood and there is a plastic grommetwasher at the end of the screen

It was disappointing with apples as there was too much waste for making apple sauce

I ordered the pumpkin screen for a coarser strain
