Pros & Cons
Pros
The only thing i don't love about it is the weight, and that cant be helped. It has a nifty little bump that keeps the hook from sliding down to the hot area of the handle. It's very durable. My only complain is how the irons are attached to the handl... Read More
If you are a camper or a fire pit person a pie iron is a must have. The only thing you need to be careful about is that the bread slice must not be larger than the dimensions of the cavity itself. Don't forget the powdered sugar.
The versatility on what u can cook in here is endless. The first rule with any cast iron is bacon should be the first thing you cook. I'm sire u could make eggs and omletes as well is you season it.
Cons
The latch on this pie maker snapped off the first time it was used. The sandwich cooker is too heavy for children to use. It's not worth the money.
I feel like this was a factory reject being sold as though it had passed quality inspection. It had obviously been casted poorly.

The trick we have found that works is to spray the inside and outside of the maker with pam spray and wrap the base in a grocery bag and store in a hobo maker storage bag
