Pros

A definite upgrade over the delica and vg-10. My only complaint is it is a lot of money for knife &amp. I'm usually not a fan of frn but this just works so well, and the action is amazing!

Solid steel and firm lock-up. Chamfered edges make for a more comfortable grip. Love the compression lock.

I find myself sharpening this knife far more often than others. Sharpened it the first time. Compared it to my manix 2 that i know is real and there is really no deference both sharp as heck.

Cons

Finger flicking is just annoying. Spyderco’s warranty allows owner disassembly but since i broke it the warranty is void. Ergo, i have to pay for a new clip and the shipping for it.

This thing is a ripoff. Way too much blue loctite from factory.

I own a few other quality edc knives there are other less expensive options out there

Also its a great quality one as well

With the clip and frn you hardly notice it even in workout shorts

Ultimately i bought a para 3 as my primary edc because it has the heft and the grippyness i’m looking for

I got this at a great price shipped free with prime

The different steels affect the price of knives

4 stars instead of 5 due to mine coming with the blade not centered and i think the price is pretty high for a knife like this

Packaging/appearance

I dont plan to give up my mingriptillians for rugged outdoor activities but i do plan to carry the spyderco as a gentlemans knife

The blade arrived shaving sharp so it’s ready to use out of the box

Not a deal breaker and maybe a little lubricant

I’m a spyderco fan and this is one of the best allaround knives i’ve ever had

Its a spyderco so you know youre receiving a great knife
