Highlights
Quality
Tbh i still prefer sharpening on a water stone because im more familiar with the feel
Used in conjunction with the medium and fine stones makes the best edge ive ever seen without a leather strop
Spyderco bench stones are of extremely good quality
Only needs a 332 shim to be 12 thick and work with the l system of sharpening templates
Price
Im sure the same level of polish is possible with a 10k to 15k water stone but the cost of that would be at least twice as much
Shipping
Very fine but very fast cutting stone

Competitiveness
And a perfect size it sharpens everything from my spyderco cricket to one of my big 12in custom bowies with ease
I have all three spyderco stones medium fine and ultrafine
Using the edges allows a much higher force per area i got the idea from a spyderco video on the use of the spyderco sharpmaker
And being a fan of spydercos sharpmaker ceramic sharpening system this seemed like a good way to go
