As the day warmed up to about the 50s i unzipped the jacket to let more air thru because i started sweating with the full zip up
My only complaint is with the shoulders being cut so squarely if you want this to provide maximum movement it might not

With an underarmor baselayer and a fleece midlayer this works

The interior of the jacket is soft like fleece while the outside is softshell to keep away from the wind
