In order to prevent this you must first remove the clips from the brackets thread the bolt through it to widen the threads then put them back on the brackets for full installation
The only reason i did not give them five starts was due to an issue with the corner retainer brackets
These brackets are bolted to the fenders with a bolt and threaded clip found in many automotive applications
