It has worked great but couldnt figure out why the detergent would not siphon out of the plastic bottle and spray out of the black nozzle

I removed the side casing and saw that there was a fitting like a coupling that connect the siphon tube from the detergent bottle to another tube that goes to the pressure washer gun

Well the second tube was disconnected
