Pros & Cons
Pros
It saves time and a lot boardroom assumptions. This methodology is so helpful to quick start projects and so easy to implement as well.
Jake knapp has written a guide to running a five-day sprint. Follow the guidelines during the first few sprints.
Jake describes the complicated process of designing a solution to a problem and testing it. Identify most important problem to solve, most important question to answer, etc.
Easy to read, very inspiring and helpful. A really good read with images and diagrams. Not much more to say that would not be repeating itself.
Cons
This book is garbage. It has nothing to do with planning. Just advice you to put a group of developers in a room and work towards a common target.
