Pros

I'm not sure whether it can seamlessly switch between power from usb and power from the batteries. Changing batteries in it is a bit of a hassle. There is a power button on the unit, making it easy to turn it off if located by a thief.

The battery life is as advertised! The user interface is clean and simple. I think they used an e-ink display much like a kindle to save on battery life.

Tracking at 10 minute intervals sends location info to your email/contacts. The keys are small, (it is a full qwerty keyboard) and typing in messages takes a little longer than on a smartphone.

Very good gps. You put this thing on your bike and it goes into stealth mode in 20 minutes and sets the location.

Cons

It freezes occasionally. The plans are robbery. I regret not spending the money and getting something reliable.

It works but the only way to cancel it after testing is for the satellite to beam back that it received the cancellation. There's no menu option to show signal strength or satellite position like a gps can. Do youself a favor, don't buy this device or... Read More

Software support is awful. Couldn't even menu to access the authorization code to try new firmware or activate the device. Never found a way to set it up using bluetooth on either a computer or ipad.
