Pros

The handle is a comfortable size to hold and the walls of the mug are thin enough that i can drink comfortably. The dinner plate is particularly beautiful because the christmas tree figure is large. They are microwave and dishwasher safe.

Cons

Many of the plates have the green border paint chipping off. Several cups have the glaze cracked inside causing staining. This design is very pretty but the first time we poured a cup of coffee in the mug it cracked and immediately and started leaking... Read More

This set of spode is not made in england. They are not the english made originals. The 'new' china and flatware is ok for xmas novelties, but the heirlooms passed down from mom to the kids is a thing of the past.

I sincerely regret my purchase, but mostly i regret that spode is no longer the quality product it once was. Very disappointing. Very very disappointing.
