They work well but its hard to see if the grout line is straight with smaller tiles 10inch hex and you cant put them very close to the wall

When i say reliable i mean that i have used other leveling systems in the past and when it came to breaking off the stem once the mortar has dried they would not always break where they were supposed to and you are left grinding away at the little piece of plastic sticking out of the tile spacing

I used a mallet to knock them out and they all broke off cleanly
