It has all the draw backs mentioned namely its a finger print magnet and this case is extremely difficult to get off once you put it on

Whether it will protect the phone if dropped from a height on to say concrete i would not know and have no plans to find out

There are videos on the net doing this test with just the phone with no case and the problems seem to come mainly from the glass back of this particular phone shattering and im sure this case will add a lot of extra protection to this weak spot

Would be great if your cases could be designed the same time as the new editions of the mobile is showcasing as i had to wait a few weeks last year after the xz premium was out for this case

In essence its a thicker much more rigged version of a standard gel case

Paired with a tempered glass screen protector my phone was perfectly fine
