This says powder but it is 1st and foremost not a powdered product.
Price
2lbs is a lot, but was a good value and i will use in a few recipes.
Hopefully it lasts 5 years or i’ll have to find more uses though, but at this price point it can’t be beat

Malic adds a sour taste thats a little more tart than citric acid

Guess it comes from green apples and thats the type of sour it offers if youre making green apple flavor it would be a good choice however citric acid is better for most flavors and if you have it malic acids likely not needed

It is a large granulated product think of a large pick rock salt shaker clearly defined visually geometric shapes

As such if what you intend requires powder you will need to take an extra step and put this in a food processor of some sort or grind it yourself

This stuff has to be very pure because a 12g extra can really affect the tartness of the end soda
