Pros

The taste is sulfury and adds nice umami to some veggie dishes.

Black salt is used to give an eggy flavor to vegan dishes such as tofu scramble or chickpea flour omelets. The sulfuric smell is stronger than any black salt i've ever purchased. Perfect for making convincing vegan egg salad.
