It takes a good amount of water before starting to buckle which it does very little of since its held in place by the glue on the two edges

I know some people have issues with the glued edges either not coming off cleanly or leakage coming through the edges that are not glued

If i know im going to likely be using the whole page wet instead of say a flower study that wont have a wet on wet background i go ahead and use the paper off the block because even if youre careful even the big brands will leak around the edges some unless theyre glued down on all sides

I have had trouble a time or two getting the paper off cleanly but not near as bad as on a highpriced name brand block that consistently proved near impossible to get apart cleanly

It works well with my personal painting preferences and its not so hard on my budget that id feel like i wasted money if i spent a page or two experimenting or worse yet had to start a painting over
