Pros & Cons
Cons
Not meant for a 99 mazda protege. The rubber boot is so stiff that when i put it in second gear, it almost pops into neutral all the time. Not made very well at all.
Highlights
Quality
Quality shifter boot for a fraction of big name.
This is a good value, the rubber is of good quality.
It matched up great with the spectre performance 6423 automatic shifter, i installed at the same time.
If they could double the thickness it be a 5 star product.
Packaging/appearance
Great quality good packaging, its really good packaging all the hardware would make a cool gift for a car guy or gal.
Competitiveness
It is an easy application with pre-drilled holes and chrome screws.

If your top shifter level point is closer to the shift plate the rubber will bind and not enjoy moving more than about 34 in any direction

The rubber boot was smaller than i thought and the hole for the manual stick on it was too small i had to cut it bigger
