Pros & Cons
Pros
Simpson brushes have a well deserved reputation for quality. This one does not disappoint. An affordable brush from a top notch producer of handmade goods.
It is on the small side but it loads well and holds water very well. Don't mind 19mm brush, handle a bit on smaller side. Fits and feels well even in large hands. Just the right size.
Firm, holds lots of water. Although it seems stiff at first it softens up significantly when wet. It isn't the softest brush i own but it lathers up great.
It lathers well and holds enough lather to cover your whole shaving area. Needed for trimming around facial hair.
