It is not like a traditional dictionary organized strictly from asteroids to zaphod beeblebrox instead it is broken into smaller subjects with an introduction followed by some vocabulary words listed in alphabetical order

And actually it is more like an encyclopedia than a dictionary because each entry provides context about the word being defined

I waffled between four stars and five stars only because the book is a little advanced for my first grader despite the fact that she is supersmart but i realized that the book isnt even marketed towards her age group it is advertised for 3rd through 6th graders so that didnt seem like a fair basis for a downgraded review
