Update 06122014well just got back from vacation from cabo and unfortunately my sp gadgets 19 pole didnt fair so well

So after a few uses here and there with no issues we went for a boat ride to the famous cabo arch and did a 360 extendedthe pole was extended video and as i finished i collapsed it then i heard something hit the floor and a plastic bushing or some clear plastic came off

Basically the metal cap on the bottom the blue part on the bottom that also attaches your lanyard came off and a clear plastic bushing or sleeve looking thing came off in two pieces

So i wasnt able to extend it on the first segment because it wouldnt lock then fully collapsed it would lock but i was to scared to use it after because i didnt want to chance it coming loose while me not paying attention and losing the camera

And if i wasnt clear i didnt misuse this product it was used properly by no means did i force it
