My mre came with a small slit in the outer bag obviously from being manhandled by someone getting too zealous with a box cutter

The heater only works on anything it has direct contact with and does not heat the bag or anything inside the bag through convection

Did not test how long the heater continued to heat so i dont know how long it would keep the entree hot after my 15 minutes heating time
