Just be careful to not put that stand to full extension otherwise your laptop or other device will fall backwards with the stand

Torsion bar design legs are covered with cheap painted plastic and a few screws not aluminum like the rest of the stand

It is not designed to be continuously adjusted you find the right position and then you leave it alone

I particularly like that it lifts the laptop off the desk so you can raise the laptop to the right height and still adjust the angle of the base and the height of the screen

Another very nice touch is the shape and height of the fingers which hold the laptop in place theyre just the right height for a macbook whereas most other laptop stands have much taller fingers designed to hold any laptop so they get in your way when you use a thinner laptop like a macbook air
